Privacy

FlareWatch is built to need as little of your data as possible. It is read-only and non-custodial: it never holds funds, never signs transactions, and never receives your private keys. Most of the site works without connecting a wallet or creating an account of any kind.

Wallets and addresses

Wallet connection happens entirely in your browser via your wallet extension or a WalletConnect session. FlareWatch never sees your private keys and cannot move your funds. Any on-chain address you connect or paste in is public blockchain data; FlareWatch uses it only to read balances, positions, and rewards for display, and stores your list of watched addresses locally in your browser.

Analytics

FlareWatch uses privacy-conscious, aggregate analytics to understand how the site is used and to keep it fast. Analytics that use cookies or similar identifiers are gated behind an explicit consent prompt and do not load unless you accept. We do not sell your data.

Local storage

Preferences such as your theme, display currency, and watched addresses are saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers them between visits. They stay on your device and are not required for the site to function.

Third parties

To show live data, FlareWatch reads from public sources including Flare and Songbird RPC nodes, block explorers, and market-price APIs. These requests are routed through FlareWatch’s own servers where possible so your browser talks to FlareWatch rather than directly to every third party.
